
UNO School of Music Professor Stacie Haneline will serve as the new Artistic Director of the Vesper Concerts beginning July 1st, 2017. Stacie is honored and excited to continue the work of Vesper Concerts and Dana Sloan, founder and Artistic Director of Vesper Concerts for 30 years. Stacie and Dana share a passion of bringing exciting, excellent and engaging concerts to audiences.
Stacie has maintained an active career nationally and internationally as a performer and artistic visionary. Her commitment to chamber music is reflected in her performances with numerous chamber ensembles, as well as her leadership as the Artistic Director of the International Series in Canberra, AUS; the Artistic Director of the Petite Musique Music Series at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and the Executive Director of the Omaha Chamber Music Series – a position she held for ten years.
Ms. Haneline looks forward to continuing the legacy of Vesper Concerts by engaging local and international artists to perform high quality, diverse, and compelling concerts for the greater Omaha area. Vesper Concerts mission is to “provide a venue for many deserving, unsung area musicians as well as performers of national and international reputation”. An engaging and vibrant leader, Ms. Haneline looks forward to sharing her artistic vision with Vesper Concerts!
