The UNO Bands presented an outstanding performance by the University Band and Symphonic Wind Ensemble at the Strauss Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The concert featured:

• Dr. Joshua Kearney, conductor
• Professor Shelby VanNordstrand, soprano
• Dr Christine Beard, flute
• Peter Sheridan, low flutes – guest artist
• Lindsey Bogatz, graduate conducting assistant
• Alex Lunardi, graduate conductor
• Ben Tweedt, piano

The program included the North American Premiere of Waiting for the Clouds to Part (2014) by Houston Dunleavy (b.1962) performed by faculty member Dr. Christie Beard and guest artist Patrick Sheridan.
